POSITION: JDA Retail consultant

This role is on the retail side of the business and is focussed on the use of the in-store display space. You will be responsible for developing the micro space strategy within the regions that you will manage. You will drive improvement of the space sales performance and customer ease of use as part of this role. Travelling out to stores and building relationships with store management will be key to success. You will base decisions on customer experience and keep them at the heart of every decision. You will develop strategies and plans for developing the use of display space across the seasons keeping potential peaks in mind.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience developing a customer focussed retail display space strategy. You will be able to visualise a 2D/3D floor plan and planograms with special experience in store specific planograms and implement the improvements required. You will utilise your analytical skills to drive improved performance. You will feel comfortable discussing your thoughts and opinions with stakeholders and senior management. You will have experience in creating a thought out strategy based on the analysis of raw data. Experience in developing a micro level strategy is required. Experience with latest tools in JDA would be preferable.

We are looking for a dynamic IT NET WORKING Consultant who will be operating in a technical role and are passionate about and ready to move into a more solution driven consulting role. You will be in any of the following roles currently: (though not limited to) Infrastructure, Support, Network Engineering, technical analysis.
Duties:
• Design, implement and support internal systems based on Network and Security platforms.• Design, implement and support the Disaster Recovery process for internal network based systems.
• Provide assistance to internal sales staff in pre and post sales activities as it relates to the provision of Network & Security based services.
• To provide assistance and support to customers and client personnel as part of the services covered by Network and Security service contracts.
• Provide support, guidance and assistance to internal and external personnel in the use of Network and Security technology and connectivity solutions.
• Ongoing support to Client Services in delivering contracted services.
• Maintain currency with design & best practice enhancements and emerging technologies.
• Designing and implementing solutions based on Network & Security platforms.
• Supporting Client Services in pre-sales customer facing activities, providing high quality technical design and proposal documentation.
• Training of other team members to ensure service and project delivery is maintained at all times.
• Provide 3rd level support to all contracted services customers.
• To undertake training as discussed and agreed in order to ensure up to date knowledge for Cisco and Checkpoint Support is maintained.

Skills & Attributes:
• Cisco Min CCNP - CCDP/CCNP Data Centre Certified Desirable• Checkpoint Min CCSA - CCSE certified Desirable
• Routing technologies (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF) including VRF
• Switching technologies (VPC, Spanning Tree, Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K and 2K. Catalyst 6500 & 4500 series Switches)
• Load balancing technologies
• Proven track record of supporting WAN/LAN based network services
• Extensive knowledge & use of Microsoft applications (inc. VISIO)
• Experience of using network management & diagnostic tools
